Initiative 82 Updates

Initiative 82 was transmitted to the Council on December 9, 2022. It has since been enrolled and assigned DC Act 24-700. The next step will be to transmit the act to Congress. That will occur in January after Congress convenes and begin accepting transmittals. Once transmitted it will undergo a 30-Congressional-day review period. Thereafter it will become law.
